Squaric Acid Dibutyl Ester. (squalic acid dibutyl ester) is used for the effective treatment of “alopecia areata”.

Alopecia areata, also known as focal baldness or localized alopecia, occurs when the immune system attacks hair follicles. Alopecia areata is a common autoimmune skin disease.

Alopecia areata is a chronic disease that affects the hair follicle and sometimes nails. It is of multifactorial origin and can appear at any age, has no distinction of sex or race.
